Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, uploading records, or accessing Reclaim (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. Description of the Service

Reclaim provides an organizational companion suite consisting of:

• Reclaim Core: Purchase tracking, receipt storage, and deadline reminders.
• Reclaim Flux: A budgeting and behavioral tool (the "Cooling-Off Vault") designed to help evaluate discretionary spending.
• Reclaim Split: A tool for creating bill splits and generating links to share with others.

Reclaim is an organizational and behavioral tool. Reclaim is not an authorized representative of any retailer, manufacturer, or financial institution.

3. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password or magic link authentication) and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions, Fees & Cancellations

• Free Tier: Free accounts are limited to tracking three (3) active purchases, one (1) active split, and basic vault access simultaneously without charge.
• Premium Subscriptions: Premium tiers unlock unlimited purchases, unlimited splits, unlimited vault items, AI features, and priority notifications.
• Billing & Renewals: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on an annual basis and automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your prepaid period, after which your account reverts to free tier limits without deleting your historical data.

5. Your Content & Permanent Deletion

You retain complete ownership of all invoices, images, and data you submit to Reclaim. We do not claim any proprietary rights to your documents.

6. Public Links & Sharing

When using Reclaim Split, you may generate unique URLs to share with others. You acknowledge that anyone possessing this URL can view the details of that specific split (including item names, prices, and assignee names). You are solely responsible for with whom you share these links and for ensuring you do not include sensitive personal information in split names.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

While Reclaim makes every commercially reasonable effort to provide accurate tools, you acknowledge that:

• Not Financial Advice: Reclaim Flux calculations (such as "True Cost" or investment opportunity costs) are mathematical approximations based on user input. They do not constitute certified financial, investment, or accounting advice.
• Third-Party Policies: Return and warranty policies are set and interpreted exclusively by individual merchants and manufacturers, not Reclaim.
• No Guarantees: Reclaim does not guarantee financial reimbursement, return acceptance, or warranty claim approval by retailers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reclaim is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

8. Account Termination

You may close and delete your Reclaim account at any time through the Account Settings screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our security guidelines or engage in fraudulent activities.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
